Is there anything wrong with punto gearbox India version?

why is commonly rumoured by experts that Punto gear ratios are wierd and less friendly compared to other cars.

is there any incidents or feedbacks reported by users or technicians around the globe concerning unlikely issues in fiat only gearbox?

Gearbox ratios are a difficult thing in India to get right. As a matter of fact you can't get them right in India. Most of the engines are smaller than in many other parts of the world due to tax reasons and other reasons.

Additionally some models are built stronger than in Europe. One other problem is that many parts of India rather hot in comparison to Europe and then some parts are much colder.

Many roads are pretty steep and leading up into heights that give a lot of engines breathing problems.

And last but not least a lot of cars are work horses that are loaded to the brim.

To get all of that drive-able is not easy when wanting to get enough pulling power under adverse conditions
