I came across a thread on another forum on adding Boric Acid in engine oil sump of 4 stroke vehicles and that it replaces carbon deposits with very hard and slippery boron particles and is good in the long run. Do you think it helps to add this boric acid powder (blended properly) to engine oil sump? What are your views on that?

Boric acid has some very good properties. However careful blending is needed.
